The Chapter of My Life I’d Call…

“The Hard Years”

“Some years are just numbers on a calendar.

Others quietly change the person you become.”

For me…

2025 was that year.

If I ever write a book about my life,

there will be one chapter titledโ€”

“The Hard Years.”

Because in that single year…

I lost more than I ever imagined,

and learned more than I ever expected.

๐ŸŒฟ One Loss After Another…

Life never really gave me the chance to catch my breath.

First…

I lost my grandfather.

Before I could even begin to accept that grief,

about six months later,

I lost my grandmother too.

It felt as though an entire part of my childhood suddenly fell silent.

Some people are more than family.

They become the safest place in our memories.

And when they leave,

it isn’t just a person we lose…

A part of us leaves with them.

๐Ÿ“š Then Came Another Heartbreak…

I had worked hard for my dream.

I had hope.

I had plans.

I believed in myself.

But despite all of it…

I couldn’t clear my examination.

Sometimes failure isn’t just a result.

It quietly begins to question your confidence.

I found myself asking,

“Am I really good enough?”

๐ŸŒง๏ธ Everything Arrived at Once…

Grief.

Failure.

Loneliness.

Anxiety.

Overthinking.

And slowly…

a deep emptiness that words can hardly explain.

I was surrounded by people,

yet I felt completely alone.

I smiled.

I talked.

I carried on.

But inside…

something had already broken.

There were days when I barely recognized myself.

๐ŸŒธ What Helped Me Survive?

If someone asked me,

“How did you keep going?”

I don’t think I could give just one answer.

I slowly began putting myself back together.

I learned to pause.

To breathe deeply whenever my mind felt overwhelmed.

And then…

I turned to books.

I found comfort inside stories where the characters had also been broken…

yet refused to give up.

I found peace in the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita.

Stillness in Meditations.

Hope in Man’s Search for Meaning, which reminded me that even in the darkest seasons, life can still hold purpose.

And in beautiful novels,

I discovered something equally powerfulโ€”

that hope has an extraordinary way of surviving, even after heartbreak.

Books didn’t solve my problems.

But they gave me the strength to face them.

๐Ÿ’› What Those Hard Years Taught Me

2025 took away many things.

But it also gave me gifts I never expected.

It taught me…

that the people we love will not stay forever.

So while they are with us,

love them completely.

It taught me…

that failure is not an identity.

It is simply one chapter of a much longer story.

It taught me…

that peace of mind isn’t a luxury.

It’s a necessity.

And perhaps most importantly…

it taught me to be kinder to myself.

โœจ My Biggest Lesson

When I look back at 2025 today,

I don’t only remember the tears.

I also remember my courage.

I was broken.

But I didn’t stop.

I cried.

But I never gave up hope.

I felt lonely.

But I never abandoned myself.

Perhaps strong people aren’t the ones who never cry.

Strong people are those who find the courage to take one more step… even after crying.

If 2025 gave me anything,

it gave me this unshakable beliefโ€”

The darkest chapter is never the end of the book.

Every story,

no matter how painful,

always leaves room for another chapter.

And today…

I’m still writing mine.

One page at a time.

With hope.
